Dear friends of the Bazaar Berlin,
After the registration deadline at the end of May, we are now starting to plan the halls and assign the exhibitors their stand locations. We draw the individual stands on our hall plans and discuss within our team which exhibitor is best placed at which stand. Many exhibitors who were unable to participate last year due to the pandemic have registered again for this year.
The list of exhibitors will be available on our website www.bazaar-berlin.de in September.
We can't wait to meet you and our exhibitors from all over the world again in November!

Our design project in Cambodia at the MEDC (Modern Ethnic Design Center)
Since November 2021, our last year of training for 20 designers has been running in Phnom Penh. The participants are busy learning everything about designing, cutting and sewing and finishing their collections. The students use only beautiful hand-woven and naturally dyed fabrics for their creations. Here are some photos showing how the students collected all the fabric samples to finally choose which ones to use for their collections.

As part of the Bazaar Berlin family, we invite you to join a panel of experts as the 7th jury member to decide which collection will be awarded this year. The winning designers will present their collections at this year's Bazaar Berlin.
From Saturday, 9 July to Sunday, 24 July 2022, we will bring the annual fashion show directly to your home and present the collections of the course participants. Vote for your favourite and win a free Bazaar Berlin ticket!

FairActivists at the Brandenburg Gate
Invitation to the event of the FairActivists on the occasion of the World Day against Child Labour on 13 June from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Brandenburg Gate (Pariser Platz).
On the occasion of the 20th World Day against Child Labour, the FairActivists will be holding a rally in Berlin on 13 June to draw attention to the exploitative working conditions for millions of children worldwide. The World Day against Child Labour was first established by the International Labour Organisation in 2002 and has been held annually in June since then. In the process, the number of children affected by child labour rose again for the first time in two decades to 160 million children worldwide as a result of COVID-19. (As of 2021, source: ILO)
FairActivists are a group of about 30 young adults between the ages of 18 and 27 from all over Germany who volunteer as ambassadors for fair trade and sustainable consumption. More information at: www.fairtrade-deutschland.de
