Dear friends of the Bazaar Berlin,
it's on again with the Bazaar Berlin. Exhibitor registrations show that you can again look forward to a great range of handicrafts, fashion, jewelry, home accessories and delicious delicacies. This year Bazaar Berlin will take place in the halls 18 and 20 and the beautiful ‘Palais am Funkturm’. The popular exhibition area 'Living Africa' will be presented in its own hall 11.2.
In any case, the collections of the selected designers from Cambodia will be there. All of you - the wonderful Bazaar Berlin community - together with an expert jury consisting of representatives from the Fashion Design Institut Düsseldorf, suPPPort ltd and Bazaar Berlin have decided who has been awarded this year and who will be allowed to travel to Bazaar Berlin in November to present the beautiful collection at the MEDC booth in the Palais.
And the winner is…
We congratulate Heang Porchhoung, who convinced the jury.
Heang Porchhoung's collection is called "The Masked" and won over the seven-member jury! The bags were made from naturally dyed hand-woven fabrics, car tires, vegan leather and wood carvings by local artisans.
Last Friday, there was great joy when Heang Porchhoung's bag collection was chosen as the winning creation. Heang Porchhoung will travel to our Bazaar Berlin 2022 in November to present "The Masked".
The other winners of the fashion show are: Mao Phyra, Roth Sreypa, Chea Simkeang, Heng Chakriya, Cheat Monysopor and Phirum Channica Samphos.

At Bazaar Berlin from November 2 to 6, 2022, you can meet Heang Porchhoung in person at the booth of the MEDC in the Palais. On Friday and Saturday at 2 and 5 pm in Hall 19, our Fair Trade fashion show will take place again. In addition to the winning collection, pieces from the other six collections and models from exhibitors with fair trade fashion will be shown.
