FAIR & SOCIAL - FAIR TRADE CONNECTS

For over 60 years, Bazaar Berlin has been Germany's most important international trade fair for arts and crafts, design, natural products and fair trade and socially produced goods.

Combining successful business with social responsibility is an important concern of Bazaar Berlin. Ever since the trade fair was launched as a development programme in 1962, it has supported and promoted the production of ethically correct, fairly traded and sustainably produced goods.

In 2014, Bazaar Berlin was given its own clearly labeled fair trade exhibition area with the FAIR TRADE MARKET. In 2021, the FAIR & SOCIAL theme world was introduced.

With FAIR & SOCIAL, Bazaar Berlin has created a theme world that underlines the importance of conscious and socially responsible consumption. It gives an opportunity to exhibitors who are commited to fair trade and social contribution to present themselves.

Our FAIR & SOCIAL theme world will be accompanied by an interesting supporting program: a fair trade fashion show and a Fair Trade Rally, with questions about the production processes in cooperation with Engagement Global.

In this context, we have been cooperating with the following organizations, among others, for over 10 years:

AKTIONSBÜNDNIS FAIRER HANDEL

The Aktionsbündnis Fairer Handel Berlin makes the diversity and impact of the Berlin fair trade movement visible.
Aktionsbündnis Fairer Handel has been an exhibitor at Bazaar Berlin since 2021.
They are part of the Fair & Social exhibition area.
