Dear friends of Bazaar Berlin,
our halls are fully booked. Over 400 exhibitors from 56 countries are presenting themselves in a total of six halls this year. So, we were able to integrate another hall into our circuit: Hall 11.1 directly at the Kleiner Stern entrance will feature the Winter at Home exhibition area with the first Christmas market in Berlin. Look forward to roasted almonds, candied fruit, mulled wine and punch and many other delicacies.
The offerings in the five halls also extend from the World Market with unique goods and typical local arts and crafts across the continents (Halls 11.1, 18 and 20) to Art & Style with unusual and individual fashion, jewelry and accessories (Palais) and Natural Living with many products for healthy living (Halls 11.1 and 20). Fair & Social (Palais) is dedicated to fairly traded and socially produced goods. The Living Africa section reflects the diversity of African products (Hall 11.2). The site plan confirms this: Like a big bazaar, there is something for everyone here.
Today we would like to introduce you to products with special stories from new exhibitors:
The country stand of Kazakhstan will celebrate its premiere this year in the World Market (Hall 20): Kazakh designers and artisans will present, among other things, handmade felt clothing, ceramics with traditional Kazakh patterns and extraordinary jewelry.
Also new is the women's project Friendly Wool SpA from Chile. In the heart of the "Carretera Austral" in Chilean Patagonia, the four women are committed to protecting the environment and indigenous wildlife as well as to good breeding and husbandry practices, fair trade and the promotion of old traditions and techniques. At their stand in the World Market (Hall 18), they offer the fairly produced Corriedale wool for sale.
For the first time, Soloko will be represented in the Fair & Social section (Palais) with contemporary home and fashion accessories made by talented artisans under fair and social conditions in Ghana. The exhibitor is committed to keeping the traditions and values of Ghanaian arts and crafts alive and making them visible to the global market.
We are particularly looking forward to our new joint stand from Morocco by LHaik and Arganium cooperatives: a total of 20 member companies will be presenting their diverse range of oriental handicrafts, ceramics, fabrics, carpets and much more in Hall 11.2. Despite the devastating earthquake, our exhibitors manage to travel to Berlin. Please support them.
And last but not least: four designers from Ukraine have registered a joint presentation: The Ukrainian Community Stand. In Hall 18 you will find beautiful clothing, hats, caps and other accessories.
We are very much looking forward to our exhibitors with their colorful offers and of course we are looking forward to welcoming you in our exhibition halls.
