Sustainable gaming fun: TicToys at the Bazaar Berlin

TicToys combines sustainability and fun in a unique way. At their stand at Bazaar Berlin, visitors will find environmentally friendly movement and coordination toys that are entertaining and promote physical development at the same time.

The environmentally friendly toys by TicToys are handmade in Germany and consist of natural materials such as wood, cork and other natural substances. The centrepiece of the collection is "das.Brett", a balance board that trains balance and coordination. But that's not it - the versatile construction toy "Binabo" promotes creativity and the latest innovation "der.Wackler" is the perfect complement to "das.Brett" and additionally promotes coordination.

Handcrafted quality from Germany

A special feature of the products is their own German manufacturing and craftsmanship. "Das.Brett" is manufactured with great attention to detail in Leipzig from responsibly grown wood from the company's own forestry operation in North Rhine-Westphalia. This local production enables TicToys to maintain the highest quality standards while keeping transport distances short.

Cork - A sustainable all-rounder

Portuguese cork is also used wisely in many products. The versatile material is not only characterised by its sustainability, but also offers a pleasant feel and look. Both the environment and the user benefit from its use.

In addition to environmentally friendly materials, TicToys also relies on partners from the region: "We stand for environmentally conscious commitment and action and that's why we almost exclusively have partnerships with the Diakonie and local and regional companies," says Jeannine Rieckhoff, Brand Manager of TicToys.

Together for more movement

The official founding date of the own toy company was the sales launch of the Mexican skill game "Ticayo" ("Ball Gulch") on 13 May 2011. TicToys has made it its mission to counteract the lack of exercise and to motivate both children and adults to move through playful activities. This mission initially presented the company with the challenge of producing the products fairly and sustainably while still offering them at marketable prices. "We only succeeded with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm and the great support of our community and retailers who truly and wholeheartedly appreciate our products," Jeannine Rieckhoff emphasises.
